Thien Long actively researches and innovates eco-friendly products for reading, writing, drawing, listening, and viewing, aligned with a sustainable development strategy.

The company's new vision is to inspire and provide Happy Learning Life solutions for Vietnamese people. This also motivates the enterprise to create products that are excellent in functionality and aesthetically beautiful; expand the ecosystem of products for reading, writing, drawing, listening, and viewing; and create advantages for growth. Accordingly, one of the steps in serving the lifelong learning journey is pursuing a sustainable development strategy and creating eco-friendly stationery products.

At Thien Long, production activities are linked with environmental protection and sustainable development. Ms. Tran Phuong Nga, CEO of Thien Long Group, stated: "Sustainable development is the core orientation of Thien Long Group. The sustainable development strategy brings many benefits to the enterprise, not only financial and sales results but also reputation and consumer trust."

From the factory construction phase and production processes, the company has focused on minimizing CO2 emissions into the environment. The solar energy systems at Thien Long's two factories reduce 1,326 tons of CO2 annually. The enterprise also effectively operates an integrated management system according to international standards, notably the SA 8000:2014 social responsibility management system and the ICTI social responsibility management system in the toy industry.

For products, the group aims for environmental friendliness. The new generation of Thien Long products - Eco-Friendly - represents a realization of this sustainable development strategy. According to company representatives, Eco-Friendly products aim to protect the environment, focusing on consuming fewer production materials, reusing waste materials, and developing environmentally friendly products.

Additionally, there are products utilizing agricultural by-products (rice husks, straw) and tapioca flour. Notably, the enterprise applies post-consumer recycled plastic to create new products - one water bottle creates two pens. Furthermore, Thien Long also uses plastic combined with naturally available materials in the environment, such as limestone from northern Vietnam.

To contribute to educating environmental protection awareness among young generations, Thien Long also implements the "For Green Schools" program, collecting old pens to raise scholarship funds. From old pens, students create interesting models. Launched in 2019, the program has attracted 20,000 student participants, helping studious children while raising environmental protection awareness and educating children about classifying organic waste, recyclable waste, and other types of waste.

Community-oriented and social activities are also among the goals that Thien Long pursues. For example, the "Supporting Exam Season" program has been organized 22 times, supporting students before university entrance exams, or the "Color Festival Day 2022" competition recognized by Vietnam Records as having the most participants in Vietnam.

According to company representatives, these events have contributed to spreading humanitarian values as well as the sustainable development strategy that Thien Long has pursued for over 40 years. The organization has also received many awards such as: Top Best Under a Billion Companies in Asia selected by Forbes Asia; Top 50 Most Effective Business Companies in Vietnam by Nhip Cau Dau Tu; Green Enterprise of Ho Chi Minh City... Most recently, the Top 25 Leading Personal & Industrial Consumer Goods Brand Companies award was selected by Forbes Vietnam.
